I’m really late in putting this page up! I’m sorry, but it’s been a little hectic with the holidays and mob preparation! Below you will find a shopping list of my favorite things, I tend to buy the same things. Some may think it’s monotony, but I like what I like and I’m not too big on trying processed foods unless I’ve been given a heads up by someone else! Even then, though, use my list as helpful suggestions! I never mind sharing healthy ideas!

**Note: these aren’t what I put in my shopping cart all of the time, but I like a variety and I tend to go for price and taste! However, the items labeled with a (*) are what I tend to always have on hand!

Vegetables/Fruits:

Bananas*

Apples*

Pears

Mangoes

Blueberries

Strawberries *in season

Dried fruits: cherries, strawberries, blueberries, apricots, banana chips (watch out for these…moderation definitely!), dates rolled in oat flour  (NutsOnline), and cranberries

Spinach

Celery

Carrots*

Tomatoes (cherry, or beefsteak, cocktail)

Onions*

Cucumbers

Broccoli*

Radishes

Asparagus

Grains

Old Fashioned rolled oats (I use generic!)

Joseph’s Flax, Oatbran, Whole wheat flour pitas (Amazing and only 60 calories! SUPER YUM!) get ‘em at Wal-Mart,  I couldn’t find the link to their page, but you can google them!

Healthy Life Farmer’s 12 grain flax bread*

Shredded Wheat (plain)

Quinoa

Oat Bran Cereal

Wheat flour (generic usually)

Beans & Nuts (I tend to buy unsalted nuts)

Almonds*

Cashews

Pecans

Walnuts

Frozen Edamames (shelled)*

Frozen mixed veggies of any kind

Canned Items:

Garbanzo beans

Light red Kidney beans

Northern Beans

Black Beans*

Stewed Tomatoes

Rotel tomatoes (the best!)

Pasta Sauce (any kind without high fructose corn syrup)

Random things-

Newman’s Own Dressings: Low Fat Sesame Ginger, Low Fat Raspberry & Walnut, & Low Fat Balsamic

Spicy Brown Mustard (typically Gulden’s)

Smart Balance Butter

Soymilk (Generic is okay here too…look for the sales!)

Sweet ‘N Low

Tea (green, black chai, english breakfast, any YOGI brand)

Jelly/Jam (grape jam, strawberry jelly, homemade cranberry sauce/jam, raspberry jam, blackberry jam)

Peanut Butter/Almond Butter (I always have this on hand, ALWAYS!):

Skippy Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter (if I don’t want to spend a lot on any particular day)

Maranatha Crunchy Almond Butter (THE BEST!)*

Eastwind Almond butter
